To ensure accurate, reliable, and high-quality results, all flights are carried out only in suitable weather conditions. Weather can change between the time of booking and the scheduled service date, and in some cases this may require rescheduling to maintain the standards stated for our services. While we always aim to minimise any inconvenience, delays due to weather are sometimes unavoidable.

For operational safety and data quality, we work within conservative limits of maximum sustained wind speeds of 20 km/h and gusts not exceeding 25 km/h, even though our equipment is capable of operating in stronger conditions. In addition, rain, fog, and extreme heat can affect flight safety and data accuracy and may also result in appointment changes.

We also monitor solar activity, as it can influence GPS accuracy and positioning performance. Flights are only carried out when conditions fall within acceptable limits to ensure dependable results. Our priority is to deliver data you can trust, even if this occasionally means adjusting schedules to wait for the right conditions.

Built from Experience

Hedron is the next step in a journey that began long before it had a name.

I’m Jean, and I started designing and building drones in 2012, years before ready-made commercial systems became widely available. My work focused on pushing what these machines could do. From long range platforms and heavy lift designs to experimental aircraft built for autonomous flight.

Data collection was not the original goal. My background is rooted in understanding and building the technology itself: how aircraft navigate, return safely, maintain GPS lock, and achieve precise positioning. That hands-on experience is what now drives Hedron. Applying years of design, testing, and flight knowledge to deliver dependable aerial mapping and inspection services built on a deep understanding of the systems behind them.

Something we missed?
